It’s a wonderful prospect: on the road with your own VAN-Jorn. You’ve recently visited us to sample the atmosphere, and you may even already have a first sketch of your dream layout lying around. We find that many people are running into the same question at this stage: “When should we tie the knot to be ready in time for next season?”
With this option, you keep your place in line without everything being immediately fixed. Until the styling session, about five months before construction, you can still change the layout and extras. This gives you room to rent a motorhome for a test drive or to complete the financing quietly.
Minimum tender amount of €30,000. Delivery time is an indication. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the €5,000 reservation fee. A change in the base vehicle may affect the delivery time.
No. We only ask for a down payment of €5,000, and that’s just part of the total down payment of 30%. So you don’t pay more, but postpone the rest of the down payment for a while.
Until the styling session, just about anything can still go over the top. Only a different type of bus model, such as a longer variant or a different type, may impact delivery time.
After the styling session, we will do work preparation and all materials will go to order. The color of the wood panels are custom produced especially for you, often just enough for your entire interior. Once the materials arrive, the furniture pieces are milled. After that, changes to the base are not possible.
Smaller changes in layout and accessories are often still possible after the styling session. On structural issues such as windows and electricity, we can then no longer change anything. Also keep in mind that some changes may extend the delivery time.
Do you already have a suitable bus, or would you like to arrange one yourself? Then we will be happy to build it for you as well.
The bus, contrary to what many people think, is one of the last steps in the process. Stopping a car for months does not make it better. That’s why we always recommend: start with your interior. Choose your layout, translate your wishes into a bus model and only after a few months start looking for the bus. We can tell you what to consider financially.

We understand you have questions about this. There have indeed been stories in the media about RV companies going out of business. Bankruptcies are of all times, but because of the corona bubble, many new parties were started, some of which, when the biggest hype was over, did not survive.
VAN-Jorn started in 2018 and is now the largest Dutch manufacturer of bus motorhomes. We are certified by insurers and vehicle manufacturer Stellantis, among others, and we have a group of investors who help us grow healthily.
Unfortunately, our industry does not have a guarantee fund. To keep the risk as low as possible, we deliberately work with the lowest possible down payments so that we always bear the greatest financial risk ourselves. Are you buying a new bus from us? Then you can get it registered as soon as it arrives at our office, after which we will immediately send you the invoice for the transfer.
