Of course, you don’t choose an RV with your head alone. You choose it based on the trips you want to take, the places you want to go and the people you will be traveling with. Within VAN-Jorn, we see that certain layouts come back often.
Wondering which configurations are chosen the most and why? In this blog you will find the five favorites. We take you through the main differences so you can make a choice that suits your travel style.
Configuration 1
For those who do not want to sacrifice anything
Built on an L3 Peugeot Boxer, this layout gives a huge sense of space to your interior. Up front, you have the seating area with two front seats and a single bench seat for when you get tired of the van cabin for a while.
The complete equipment makes this configuration strong. A kitchen module with closed top, water and gas. A half-height refrigerator cabinet. A cabinet across for extra storage space. A pull-out bed drawer in the rear. Three roof hatches provide light and ventilation along the entire length of the van.
If you’re going to be away anyway, you’d better have it taken care of.
Configuration 2
Freedom in a more manageable format
Rather drive than maneuver? Then this bus suits you well! Shorter, more maneuverable and therefore just a bit more practical in daily use. Parking is easier than with an L3.
The layout remains complete. A width bed, a kitchen with water and gas, a fold-out seat on the closet module and a swiveling table under the bed. Space is used efficiently without complicated solutions. In fact, you easily slide the bed in, from a 2 to a 1-bed, to conjure up the seating area.
This configuration suits people who want to use their RV for vacations as well as shorter trips.
Configuration 3
Gasless and progressive
This configuration is based on the Mercedes Sprinter L2H2 and opts for all-electric cooking. The induction cooktop works together with a weighted lithium electrical package. One system that controls everything, in other words.
On the Sprinter you will find two flares that give you a width bed 2 meters long without making the bus longer. The partition behind the bed creates an enclosed garage area. Both front seats swivel and can be reupholstered in an attractive upholstery fabric. The table with swivel top increases the usable table area when needed.
This is a practical solution for those who consciously want to travel gas-free.
Configuration 4
Space and accessibility
This layout is distinguished by two longitudinal beds. This makes entry and exit easier and gives the bus a different layout than with a width bed. In addition, the left length bed folds up. Useful, for example, if you want to transport your bicycles inside or are looking for a little more space inside in bad weather.
Under one of the beds is the refrigerator. The fold-out bench provides additional seating. Three roof hatches bring daylight into the middle and rear of the bus.
This configuration is often chosen by travelers seeking comfort in practical details. No puzzling.
Configuration 5
On the road together
This layout can accommodate four people. A two-seat seatbelt bench provides secure seating while driving, and the sleeping lift roof creates an additional sleeping space at the top.
Downstairs, the width bed remains available. The kitchen is equipped with closed top, water and gas. The table with swivel top makes the interior flexible.
This configuration is a logical choice for families or those who regularly travel with additional passengers.
