1. Basic vehicle

VAN-Jorn builds on two basic models: the Peugeot Boxer (platform shared with Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Opel Movano and Toyota Proace Max) and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. For the electric CHARGE version, it is the Peugeot e-Boxer.

The entire camper section is powered by a lithium household battery, completely separate from the vehicle’s starter battery.

For reference, an RV shower consumes ± 5 L per minute. When showering economically (wet, tap off, rinse) you end up with 10-15 L per person per shower.

16. Warranty

16.1. Warranty on the interior

16.2. Warranty on the base vehicle

The base vehicle (engine, powertrain, vehicle electronics, chassis and other vehicle-related systems) is covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s or dealer’s manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer or dealer to the customer. VAN-Jorn is not responsible for the content, validity or handling of this manufacturer’s warranty, but can, if desired, assist in putting the customer in contact with the relevant dealer.

16.3. Due date

The warranty claim is void if:

  • Visible or demonstrable defects are not reported in writing to VAN-Jorn within 14 business days of discovery or delivery, clearly describing the defect;
  • VAN-Jorn is not given an opportunity to investigate and correct the defect within a reasonable time;
  • Work or modifications have been made to the affected part without prior authorization from VAN-Jorn, unless demonstrably independent of the defect or upon necessary immediate action.
